Suvarnabhumi International Airport
Hua Hin is 200 km south of Bangkok on the west coast of the Gulf of Thailand. It takes approximately 3 hours drive from Suvarnabhumi International Airport to Hua Hin.
Unlike other beach resort in Thailand such as that in Phuket or kho samui, Hua hin has a special character all it's own. It's where you can enjoy the walk through the quiet winding streets of a friendly coastal village, a delicious seafood in restaurants, friendly people and calm relaxing atmosphere specially for family and children.
If you are visiting Thailand and want to spent 2 to 3 days in a beach resort, away from the hustle and bustle then Hua Hin will be a good choice for you. The weather is worm and somehow humid. There are more than 100 resort surrounding Hua Hin and most of them are in the beach front. You can do lots of things there (water activities, horse riding, motorbiking, wend surfing , and shopping). There is a night market in Hua Hin just like the one in Bangkok that stay up till 3AM. We spent an amazing 3 nights in Hua Hin, and will be leaving tomorrow early morning to Bangkok.
